On iPhone
Go to Settings → Cellular. If you see an "Add eSIM" option, your device supports it. Supported from iPhone XS (2018) onwards.
On Android
Go to Settings → Network → SIM cards. If you see "Add eSIM" or "Download SIM", you're good. Most flagships from 2019 support it.
